London to the Isle of Man TT on a Kawasaki ZX-10R

Including a blast around the Mountain

VISORDOWN ad man Kane Dalton rode a Kawasaki ZX-10R from London to the Isle of Man for the 2016 TT. Here's his trip, including a blast around the Mountain, condensed to seven minutes (We have no idea why he stopped at a farmers' auction and steam fair on the way there).
Kane said of Kawasaki's flagship sports bike: 'The engine spins up really quickly. I was expecting an aggressive response but the power delivery is ever so smooth. It's subtle to start with but as the revs reach 6,000 the beast is unleashed. It's peaky, with all the power above that point in the range. That would be good on track but it's also useful on the road, because the bottom-end is user friendly. It's only when you build the revs that its starts to pull your arms out of their sockets.'
