'Flying doctor' John Hinds gives an illuminating talk about his work

The late 'flying doctor' on what it takes to save lives in road racing

HERE'S Dr John Hinds giving a funny and illuminating talk on his work as one of the ‘flying doctors’ of road racing, who give emergency treatment to injured competitors.

Dr Hinds died on Saturday after crashing at the Skerries 100 the previous day. A Change.org petition calling for a Northern Ireland air ambulance – something Dr Hinds campaigned for – has gained 38,000 signatures since his death.
