70MPH on a sportsbike is a bad place to be when crosswinds hit.
This video shows the moment that Honda CBR500R rider John Smith is blown on to the grass between two carriageways in Nebraska, America.
Smith uploaded the video to his channel, Nebraska Rider, yesterday. It shows him reaching speeds of 85mph before strong winds sends his bike sideways off the tarmac. Incredible he manages to keep control of the bike and bring it to a stop after a good few hundred metres on unintended off-road riding.
