Mackenzie's thoughts on Motovudu 2

Crafar's new book, out now

A highlight of Motorcyclelive this year was catching up with old buddy Simon Crafar.  Two years ago he launched his excellent DVD and book ‘Motovudu: The Dark Art of Performance’, which I thought was a must have for any track day rider keen to improve their skills.

The book was full of tips and skills to practice (clearly demonstrated on the DVD) that would undoubtedly improve your riding while keeping you safe along the way.  I was pleased (and impressed he had the time) to find the friendly Kiwi and 1998 British Grand Prix winner has moved things up a level now aiming his latest book ‘Motovudu 2’ at the fast track day rider and aspiring racer.

As an ex-racer I can relate to almost all of his riding techniques and methods of preparation, the difference being, unlike me, he has the ability to clearly explain every facet of racing and the racer.  You’ll see from the contents page that this is a one stop shop of understanding how to ride fast and the preparation involved.  If you are that person or know someone who wants to be, treat yourself or slip it into a stocking this Christmas!
