Overall Review

1500 on the road is cheaper than this computer I'm typing this on, a lot of bike for a medium amount of money, I'm using a lexmoto official dealer so warrenty is good for 2 years parts and labour, nice aggressive look, looks bigger than a 125 and dosent sound like a bee in a tin, after 6 years on a lot of 125's I'd say this is worth the cash, much better feel and quality than other older lexmotos/Chinese bikes, only time will tell but I'm pleased so far very nice for a new biker forgives mistakes and quite weighty

Strengths

First of all the fairing is much thicker plastic than most Chinese models, the dash is fantastic for a bike this cheap(probebly the best dash on a 125 apart from yzf) I chose mine I'm black and it looks mean, only time will tell how the paint holds up, pillion grab rail is acceptable and a league above the my old cbf (2010), the tyres filled me with confidence compared to a cbr 125 or many imitations, the exaust and engine are quiet purr with very little and I meen very little vibration but it's still in it's running in period, we will have to see at 2000 miles if its shook itself apart

Weaknesses

Rear brake is a drum and not a disk :(, 1500 pound is cheap but there are cheaper available, under storage could fit a DVD and maybe a biscuit aswell so that's it for storage, is does have a luggage rack as standard so for us commuters its a bonus but is not removable unless you want your 2 year warranty void (garage will remove it for a price most likely), no windscreen so in England or Scotland your in for a cold ride ;), I'm just nit picking as I have only ridden 382 miles and have no real complaints it seems china has got there sh*t together finally and put some effort into the production

Overall Review

I brought this motorcycle when it was 8 months old with 350 miles on the clock for the grand price of £700, silly money, i hadn't ridden since i was a teenager and having just turned 40 and wanting to try biking again but not sure i wanted it enough to spend a fortune on a bike this seemed ideal. 4 months later its now got just under 6000 miles on the clock and apart from replacing the oil, spark plug and chain and sprockets iv not spent a penny on it or been let down by it once.(not bad for a Chinese bike that if you believe what everyone tells you is made from cheese and is unreliable). I cant speak for all lexmotos but this one is fantastic and id recommend it to anyone. As standard it struggled to hit 65mph but after changing the front sprocket (5 min job costing £6) it now cruses happily at 70-75mph and I'm 16st. It handles pretty well but the front can get a bit bouncy on rough roads. The brakes are more than capable of their job and for a 125cc the headlights are very good. The under seat storage is tiny and struggles to fit anything more than a sandwich and a bag of crisps. The plastics are decent quality and the paint seems of a decent thickness and polishes up really well. Unlike a lot of more expensive bikes the dash has a fuel gauge and gear indicator both of which are very useful for a new rider. The rear light and all indicators are LED. Fuel economy is fantastic with 120mpg+ and insurance is very cheap. Road tax is £17 per year. Biking on a budget IS possible.

Strengths

Cheap to buy, Parts cheap and easily available, A full size motorcycle that fits a grown man, Styling that puts more expensive brands to shame,

Weaknesses

Doesn't hold its value like jap bikes, Needs nuts and bolts checked and tightened regularly, Snide remarks from ignorant people who still believe all Chinese bikes are cr@p,
