A lucrative prize pot of £75,000 is on offer to riders competing in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship this season following the launch of the new Integro Summer Triple Crown.
Comprising six races across three rounds – Brands Hatch (Round 4), Knockhill (Round 5) and Snetterton 300 (Round 6) – the Integro Triple Crown offers a substantial financial incentive for riders to push for victory during these events.
Should a rider go ahead and triumph in all six races, a prize of £50,000 - plus a Triple Crown bonus of £25,000 – will be awarded for the hat-trick of successes. For five wins during this period as rider will net £40,000, plus £25,000 for scoring wins at all three circuits.
Finally, if a rider wins four races they win £40,000 and if they occur at all three venues, they will also get the £25,000 ‘top up’.
A high-stakes battle to run alongside the regular Championship and Podium Points, the Integro Summer Triple Crown is intended to provide another element of tension to the popular Superbike series.
Stuart Higgs, Bennetts BSB Series Director said: “I’d like to welcome Integro Sport and Entertainment as an official partner to the championship,” said Stuart Higgs, Bennetts BSB Series Director. “Their support of this new exciting component of the championship will add an exciting new dimension over three diverse circuits.”
Neil Clayton, Global Leader for Integro Sport and Entertainment commented: “We are delighted to become a partner for the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and hope the Integro Triple Crown creates some mid-season close racing excitement and added interest to the fantastic race series for 2019. We look forward to hopefully presenting our prize to a worthy winner.”
