Sycamore H-D’s Alley Rat crowned 2018 Battle of the Kings winner
Custom Softail Street Bob, Ottaway, by Maidstone Harley-Davidson took second place, while West Coast Harley-Davidson’s Enlisted finished the top three.
SYCAMORE Harley-Davidson has taken the 2018 Battle of the Kings crown, with its custom creation Alley Rat.
Earlier this year 15 UK and Ireland Battle of the Kings entrants became five finalists through public voting, and an expert panel of judges decided the ultimate champion at the London Motorcycle Show last weekend.
After making the final five in 2017, the Peterborough dealership’s resident bike builder, Todd Meynell, and his team had their target firmly set on the top spot this year with a raw, stripped back Sportster Forty-Eight.
The urban brawler style machine lined up at the show alongside fellow finalists from Guildford Harley-Davidson, Maidstone Harley-Davidson, Shaw Harley-Davidson and West Coast Harley-Davidson.
Custom Softail Street Bob, Ottaway, by Maidstone Harley-Davidson took second place, while West Coast Harley-Davidson’s Enlisted finished the top three.
Alley Rat will go head-to-head with other national finalists in a grand finale at EICMA later this year.
