Overall Review

Overall I was impressed, there aren't a lot of reviews for the bike so I took a gamble when I bought it instead of going for a tried and tested ybr but I'm glad I did. If you're realistic about the thrills you can get from a 125 and are looking for a bike to commute and hone your skills on I would recommend.

Strengths

As someone who had just done there CBT I was after a bike that was a)Cheap and b)Good looking. The Generic Worx ticks the first box at £1700 OTR for a brand new bike it's very hard to complain. Looks wise it's very nice if you're in to naked bikes, it's a bit bigger than a ybr and feels a bit more solid when riding. Finally it shrugs off the stigma of being a chinese "knock-off", it very well built and well kitted out. The Worx comes with a digital display and gear indicators and is sturdily made, I'm yet to have any issues with mine! Overall great value, nice looking and great for a learner!

Weaknesses

It's an 11bhp 125cc commuter so maybe this is to be expected but it lacks a bit of goin the higher gears. Top speed on a straight is 57mph and if you're going up a hill you'll need to be in 3rd at least. This is great on most built up roads but I wouldn't recommend on duel carriageways!

Overall Review

I think its great, even with the lack of top end response its put a big smile on my face , and even though im in my 40's I don't feel silly on it (although I may well look it!) good value , nice looking and probably perfect to get me through my test!

Strengths

very forgiving... good looks....low seat height (im 5 6") nice styling and (alledgedly) a Suzuki engine Austrian made ( so hopefully the nuts and bolts aren't paper mache!) accelerates ok , LOVE the digital display...looks like a bigger bike , comfortable ride position , seems to be very economical so far , big tank capacity, headlights are effective and LED brake is very visible ...really good price for new bike £1600-£1900 years warranty

Weaknesses

will only ever be a 60mph bike (but i've bought it for manual practice not street racing!) the brake position is a bit strange (again this could just be me!)

Overall Review

amazing bike, especially for 125 that isn't one of the larger brands, riding position, acceleration, handling, everything is great, could not recommend it enough, especially for a bike in this price range

Strengths

great looks (especially in white), great seating position, comfortable on long haul rides, good off the line acceleration for a 125, good handling and rather forgiving of rider mistakes, reliable (only let me down once, and that was my fault for not maintaining the carb properly), i bought the bike 2 years ago, I've ridden it every day in every kind of weather be it sunshine or intense rain and even a few inches of snow! gives great confidence to new riders and always puts a smile on my face! (even in the rain)

Weaknesses

low top end, genuine parts rather dear (dealer tried to charge me £135 for chain and sprocket, seriously!!!) bits and bats of rust, although nothing extreme and due to being stored outside for 2 years
