Sportmax D208 review

Construction
Front tire highlights: Cut-angle breaker and two-ply carcass construction control tread shape and contact patch with excellent damping. The result: better feel at the contact patch and progressive steering response.

Rear tire highlights: Jointless Band (JLB) technology combined with CTCS produce a tire with improved stability, handling, grip and comfort. Dunlop's JLB is a circumferential aramid belt wound onto the tire carcass.

Tread/Pattern

Second-generation cosecant-wave groove technology, developed directly from our D208 GP tire to yield superior dry grip, reduce/optimize wear, enhance stability and improve wet-surface grip.

Compounds

Front tire: Specially formulated styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) polymer-based compound improves wet-road grip and handling, combined with better feedback for the rider.

Rear tire: High-grip SBR-compound with the latest fine-grain carbon black in combination with silica enhances grip and promotes wear resistance. This new compound allows rapid tire warm-up to optimize grip level for street riders, thereby producing superior sport bike performance.
