It's always good to have a Plan B...

Jack Miller has been testing… but not his MotoGP bike!

JACK MILLER may be riding high in the MotoGP World Championship but that doesn't mean he can't plan for a different future if his latest on track escapade is to be believed.

The Pramac Racing rider swapped out his Ducati GP19 for a trick Ducati Panigale V4 R during an open track day in Spain - the bike that has been dominating the World Superbike Championship in the hands of Miller's former MotoGP rival Alvaro Bautista.

The Australian is currently in his second season within the Ducati stable and was at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain as part of an open test featuring Moto2 and Moto3 riders.

Whilst there, Miller took the opportunity to ride the machine that is well on course to give Ducati its first WorldSBK riders’ title since 2011 following Bautista's crushing run of 11 wins from 14 race.

No official lap times or comments were made.

Miller, who made his MotoGP debut in 2015 after making the huge leap straight from Moto3, is enjoying a strong start to the 2019 MotoGP season after notching up a podium and a pair of top four finishes during the opening five rounds.

@jackmilleraus throws leg over Panigale V4 R for first time!

The charismatic Australian may be looking for a factory Ducati, but where?
