Ducati has announced a new selection of accessories and add-ons for the Multistrada V2.

The updates are designed to enhance the identity of the V2 Multi’ as a tourer, by improving its ability to handle long journeys, both for solo rides and ones with passengers.

To start off, the new range of accessories includes a new set of aluminium case racks, and new cases themselves. The cases are designed with waterproofing and “excellent resistance,” according to Ducati

Moving on, Ducati have brought a new central stand for the Multistrada V2, and the Gran Turismo windshield is 35mm higher, and 20mm wider than standard.

Ducati has also partnered with Garmin for its Ducati Zumo 396 satellite navigation kit, which is now available as part of this accessories kit for the Multistrada V2. The GPS has Bluetooth connectivity which allows it to connect to your phone, meaning you can play music through it, and you can share your routes with other people. The Zumo 396 has 46 European countries mapped as standard, and you can download additional maps via Wi-Fi. Importantly for a GPS fitted to a touring bike, it is also waterproof.

Elsewhere, Ducati is offering new clutch, and brake, reservoirs which come from Rizoma, as do the new mirrors, which are designed for minimised aerodynamic effect. Not only speed is of interest here, but also noise.

For the longer and more extreme rides, the Multistrada V2 will be able to be fitted with an aluminium protection net for both the water radiator and oil cooler, and you can now get additional LED spotlights.

Finishing off the accessories selection for the Multistrada V2 is the new muffler from Termignoni made of billet aluminium and titanium. It is “designed to improve the sound of the twin cylinder,” Ducati says.

All of the accessories are able to be visualised virtually using Ducati’s configurator, and are available to check out in person, and buy of course, in Ducati dealers.
