Metzeler has announced its presence at the upcoming Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary event in Budapest.
Metzeler will be present in Budapest for the Harley-Davidson 120th Anniversary event as an official partner of the event.
The German tyre brand will have its own booth, which it says in a press release will be “completely dedicated” to its Metzeler Cruisetec and Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra tyres, in the Harley-Davidson Village that will be set up in the Hungarian capital for the Milwaukee marque’s anniversary celebrations.
Additionally, tyres will be able to be bought and fitted at the event, and there will be a free tyre pressure check-up service offered.
Metzeler will also be the sponsor of the Custom Bike Show at the event, as well as of three of the awards and categories in the Show. These categories are:
- Best in Show
- Metzeler People's Choice Award
- Metzeler Judges' Choice
Further along the custom line, an artist unnamed by Metzeler in their press release will, Metzeler says, “create a celebratory peanut tank dedicated to Harley-Davidson's 120 years.” The tank will be auctioned for charity, along with the other tanks created during the Metzeler Custom Tour.
The announcement from Metzeler follows a similar announcement from its fellow tyre manufacturer, Dunlop, which will have its own presence at the H-D 120th Anniversary event, which will take place between 22-25 June. The aforementioned Custom Bike Show is scheduled to take place on the second day of the event: Friday 23 June.
