Harley-Davidson Has Announced its Plans For The 30th HOG Rally

Harley-Davidson has just announced its plans for the 30th anniversary of its annual Harley-Davidson Owners Group (HOG) Rally.

The event, which is staged at a different European location each year, will be heading to the Senigallia on Italy’s east coast, around 30 miles from the Misano MotoGP circuit. It's billed as an event which brings together music, moto culture, and adventure and is thought to be attracting around 50,000 visitors over the course of the three-day event.

It is a completely free-to-enter event, and while not mandatory riders and owners of any make and model machine are free to attend. As well as the food, drink and bikes at the event, music will play a big role, with gigs and concerts taking place within the central Piazza Garibaldi. While the music line-up is not confirmed at the time of writing, the line-up is being curated by Virgin Radio DJ Ringo, and the full schedule will announced soon.

Visitors will also get the chance to sample Harley’s Pan America 1250 special in its natural off-road habitat. The guided rides will take approximately half a day, and riders will get to try the bike both on the road and on some off-road Strada-Bianci trails. The guided rides are open to anyone who owns a Pan America 1250 and is looking to dip a toe into off-road riding, and those people who may own another manufacturer’s adventure bike and are looking to sample Harley’s latest adventure touring creation. Riders taking part in this will also get the chance to ride alongside elite rider, Joan Pedrero, who recently made history by finishing the 15th edition of the Africa Eco Race on a Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250.

Away from the dirt, there will also be a Harley-Davidson parade, which will see the spectacle of thousands of motorcycles riding through the heart of the town past historic landmarks on Saturday 8 June. Enthusiasts will have the opportunity to showcase their unique motorcycles at the Custom Bike Show, which will take place in Piazza Garibaldi on Friday 7 June.

Entry to the event will be completely free for all riders. More details and official accommodation offers are available now at www.harley-davidson.com/events. Or book accommodation directly at https://booking.senigalliaincoming.it/en/hd-event.
