Harley-Davidson Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection Launched

The new Harley-Davidson Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection mimics the sunburst effect as seen on guitars, bass guitars and drums of the 1960s

Harley-Davidson Tobacco Fade Enthusiast Motorcycle Collection Launched

Harley-Davidson has announced special edition Tobacco Fade versions of the Low Rider ST, Ultra Limited, and Tri Glide Ultra.

The bikes feature a distinctive, and familiar to any guitarist over a certain age, sunburst paint scheme which Harley has coined Tobacco Fade. While not a numbered edition, like the Hydra Glide we reported on yesterday, the new Enthusiast Collection bikes will be made in limited numbers, with at most 2,000 being produced for each model.

The Low Rider ST in Tobacco Fade

The Tobacco Fade paint treatment is applied by Harley-Davidson using state-of-the-art precision paint tools designed to execute faded panel detailing. A rich caramel-coloured pinstripe accents the tone of the metallic gold panel floating just outside the sunburst fade.

The Ultra Limited in Tobacco Fade

The fuel tank medallion is inspired by the shape and grooves of a vinyl record, while a graphic on the front fender shaped like a guitar pick, inspired by rock bands and instrument logos, is styled to work alongside the aforementioned tank medallion.

The Tri Glide in Tobacco Fade

As mentioned, the three bikes in the collection are the Low Rider ST, priced at £23,295, the Ultra Limited, starting at £33,395, and the three-wheeled Tri Glide, coming in at £43,595. Each machine features the sunburst-inspired paint on the frontal fairing, fuel tank and pannier boxes - if fitted. They also carry the vinyl record-inspired fuel tank medallion, unique to this collection, and the stylised guitar pick graphic on the front fender.

More information on all three bikes can be found on the Harley-Davidson official website.
