THE versatile Ducati Multistrada V2 has been updated for 2024, and following the theme set by the Panigale V2 below, it's been given a stealthy makeover!

Ducati is calling the two new shades Thrilling Black & Street Grey, and like the Panigale, the two new looks will be available alongside the traditional Ducati Red colour. The bikes are finished off with red wheel rims and the new graphics of the model name, but beneath the skin it is technically the same as the previous generation machine.

Ducati Panigale V2 updated with new colourways

The Ducati Panigale V2 has received a new, black paint scheme for the 2024 model year.

Named ‘Black on Black’, the new paint features, believe it or not, all-black bodywork and wheels, with red highlights in both wheel rims and the word ‘Panigale’ in red at the front of the fairing. The usual ‘Ducati’ text on the fuel tank is also in the same red as in the wheels and the fairing text.
The text ‘V2’ is positioned underneath the ‘Panigale’ text on the fairing in large, black lettering.

In comparison to the standard ‘Ducati Red’ paint (£16,095), the new ‘Black on Black’ scheme adds £300 to the price of the Ducati Panigale V2, with the bike in its new colours costing £17,095.

The new, blacked out paint job comes as a minor refresh of Ducati’s mid-range super sports bike, which is currently leading the World Supersport Championship in the hands of Nicolo Bulega.

From a technical standpoint, the statistics from the bike remain the same as in previous years. That means peaks of 155 horsepower and 104Nm from the 955cc twin-cylinder Superquadro engine, which is controllable via a range of electronics options.

These include Ducati Traction Control Evo 2, Ducati Wheelie Control Evo, Ducati Quick Shift Evo 2 (two-way), and Engine Brake Control Evo. Electronics also extend to the brakes, with ABS Cornering Evo.

The monocoque chassis, 43mm Showa Big Piston Fork, Sachs rear shock, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres all also remain for 2024.
