Underrated allround motorcycle. Did 3600 miles 2-up in 2 weeks last summer. Use givi luggage not BMW,

Loads of power, comfortable, quick shifter!! Good luggage capacity with Givi luggage. Reasonable service costs. Good 2-up bike with comfort seat. Electronic suspension is useful if you use the bike for many uses.
Wind protection although reasonable with the sport screen for a naked. Will cruise comfortably at 90mph (in Germany) on the motorway and is better in cross winds than my previous 1200GS.
Considering it's a naked a great allround bike that's good 2-up with the power to excite!! I am on my 2nd as I couldn't find anything better for what I wanted!

silly speedy, super stable...... stunning

Reliable. For the size pretty good with the fuel mileage. Huge grin factor and after a year and a half it hasn't worn off yet. Speed, I think it has me hooked on speed, its ok but is it a good thing?
All the issues of the 1200 have been fixed.
the quick shifter seems pointless... perhaps that's just me.

I prefer the old BMW style switch gear. It had a much more solid feel.
Reliable, zippy, never to much of a handful I fell in love with the K1200R but the 1300R has stolen my heart (and life) there is never an errand too big or small or a tour to go on. Like I said is like being addicted to speed. Oh wait I am!

The K1300R is a bike with power & presence. Agile enough for bend swinging, but stable enough for touring.

Agressive Presence
Phenominal Brakes with ABS
Torque and power delivery
Quick shifter
ESA (electronic adjustable suspension) adjustable on the move
Stability and agility
BMW's usual excellent build quality
Fuel Economy
Lack of decent luggage
Not BMW's usual 'all-day comfort' seat
Absolutely Phenominal

K1300R as a replacement for K1200R

Looks
Torque and power delivery
Quick shifter
ESA (electronic adjustable suspension)
Stability and agility
Protection
Saddle could be more comfortable.
The K1300R is a bike with an attitude which usually would give it a purpose. However, in this case the attitude is no compromise for versatility as the K13R allows extremely spirited riding as well as long mile touring in comfort (on very long miles, a Airhawk is recommended).

Living in the Swiss Alps, there is absolutely nothing I cand throw at the bike that it won't cope with brilliantly.

Why did the Münchener wait so long to come up with this one ?
