PRE-SEASON training has claimed another victim after Andrea Dovizioso broke his collarbone in a motocross accident.

The new Tech 3 Yamaha rider tweeted on Thursday evening: "F*ck, i broke my right collarbone doing motocross." With the accompanying picture of the Italian in hospital.

Dovizioso, who finished a career best of third last season, joins Nicky Hayden as the second rider to injure himself whilst undergoing training. The factory Ducati rider broke his left shoulder riding flat-track on a Honda XR100.

Both riders will be fighting to be fit for the first test session of 2012 at Sepang on January 31st.
