HONDA has just unveiled the new CB300F, a naked version of the CBR300R.
The CB300F uses the same steel diamond twin-spar frame and 286cc single-cylinder engine as the forthcoming CBR300R but with a more upright riding position. That means it should make 30.4hp and 19.9lbft.
Design drawings of the CB300F were revealed on Visordown in March and just last month we told you the model had been named on Californian emission certification documents.
Now Honda has now officially revealed the model on its US website, a move which seemed to have surprised even the firm's UK press office when we called for more details.
It's due to go on sale in the US this Autumn at $3,999 (£2,337).
With production of the CBR300R already delayed without explanation in the UK, it's not entirely clearly when or if we'll see the CB300F but, at that price, we dare say a few would sell.
