History

1998 - Polaris launch the V92.
2000 - State-side custom Guru's Cory & Arlen Ness involved with chief designer Michael Song to design the Vegas.
2003 - Revised 92 cubic inch motor used in Vegas.
2004 - Kingpin and Kingpin Tourer launched.
2005 - Hammer launched with largest section rear tyre of any production motorcycle.

A new bike from the Minnesota firm in the good ol' US of A. A mammoth 1634cc twin boasts two firsts for a cruiser - a sixth gear and a huge 250 secion rear hoop.

The addition of a sixth gear is brilliant. It allows the rider to drop the revs at cruising speeds, but thanks to the torque-laden motor, there is still bags of grunt left at the flick of the wrist.

Predominantly aimed at the US market, it may take a while to get used to the slow steering thanks to the bulbous front and rear rubber. However, the twin front discs amply bring this hulking performance cruiser to a stop without any panic.
