Overall Review

Great helmet very versatile and a good price £120,and fairly lightwieght.

Strengths

Bought this helmet a year ago,got a takai fullface for winter but prefer to where this one with a buff .I like the fact your side vision is so much better than a full face helmet. The clear full length visor keeps the rain off and very little wind noise. And the secondary visor/black sunshield just makes the helmet look cool.

Weaknesses

The only downside, the sunshield is operated by a slider on the top of the helmet. Can be a bit fiddly with gloves on .

Overall Review

I bought this as I thought a full face helmet would be too restrictive when I first started riding, and it has the full 5 star rating by Sharp. The lid does it's job well and for a first helmet seemned fine until I started using an intercom linked to a sat nav. as soon as I got up to 40mph I couldn't hear a thing so looked for a new full face lid (1 year on from getting this which could have been a part of the excess noise) I dind't notice until I started using a £400 shark how much better you can do with more money. Had I known I'd have got the expensive helmet straight away instead of waiting till it's half price. The sound was gone and the fabric much more comfortable on the shark and it felt weightless. spend more and look for a deal if you can. That said the caberg is a good lid for the money and the sun visor is absolutely superb. It will do if you're on a budget so on that basis I'd recommend if you really cant stretch.

Strengths

cheap, great protection, good vision and the sun visor is a godsend

Weaknesses

noisy, heavy, not as comfortable as many

Overall Review

For monies worth a consideration, but like most helmets must fit head shape and be comfortable. had mine several years without a problem. new visors are generally expensive, if u can get one know. Should indicate on info sheet or on helmet whether can be riden with front up but doesnt say one way or the other and like all flip fronts it should do., i dont think the scores are relevant in csome respects but a good helemt overall. would look for another. Obviously cant compete with helmets 4 times the price but then if it is 5 star on the sharp test it is a lot beter than most more expensive helmets

Strengths

Good helmet for price, comfortable, works well, advantage having built in sun visor. easy to take out lining and is washable. Locks both down and up good and strong. Will take a pa. sysstem the one i have is wire to wire and fits ok without need to ammend anything. good up to motorway speeds but that might be the system rather than the helmet a weak system on may have difficulty hearing over wind noise.

Weaknesses

like other helmets doesnt suite all head shapes. because its flip front is rather heavy and would suite an upright riding position such as on a tourer, wing, harley or other custom bike, street but not sports with the frontal bent over tank position. Rather noisy one may have to consider ear protection, but then many do anyway.
