Never one to be shy in front of a camera, Scott Redding turned ‘vlogger’ for his first-ever WorldSBK test with Aruba.it Ducati at Motorland Aragon to bring you some behind the scenes footage of his maiden outing on the factory Ducati Panigale V4 R.

Stepping up to the WorldSBK series following his title-winning exploits in the British Superbike Championship, Redding recently threw his leg over the sister electronics-equipped Panigale V4 R he will race on the international stage in Spain.

Helpfully, he also took the opportunity to offer up some candid footage of his experience with everything from his first impressions of the bike to the weather to the wide selection of ham available at breakfast (you’ll understand if you watch it…).

Having neglected his self-titled YouTube channel during 2019 as he (successfully) focused on winning the BSB title at his first attempt with Paul Bird Motorsport, Redding writes that he wants to do more vlogs this year to chart his new WorldSBK adventure and he’s after some content inspiration. Be sure to comment if you have any ideas for him.

The video takes in his first test at Aragon which – despite inclement weather conditions – saw him emerge quickest out of the box over Jonathan Rea, before he set the fifth quickest time at the following test in Jerez.

With WorldSBK track action completed for another year, attention shifts to the 2020 WorldSBK Championship, where Redding will be paired with Chaz Davies in the rejigged factory outfit.
