Stoner to Repsol Honda in 2011?

Repsol Honda MotoGP boss spotted in negotiations with former MotoGP champ

CASEY STONER to Repsol Honda MotoGP squad in 2011 - that's the latest hot gossip eminating from the world of premier class racing.

The rumour started after Stoner's former Ducati boss, Livio Suppo, who defected to Honda at the end of last year, was spotted in negotiation with Stoner's father (and business managaer) Colin, after last weekend's Spanish GP at Jerez.

Suppo, who has spent 11 years at Ducati, switched to the Repsol Honda team at the end of 2009, following a turbulent year at Ducati, which saw Stoner withdraw from three MotoGP rounds due to a mystery illness.

But whose slot would Stoner take at Honda? Best guesses point at Dani Pedrosa, who's been outspoken about Honda's recent lack of success in MotoGP - something the company won't be too chuffed about.

Lots of rider contracts are up for grabs for 2011. Stoner, Rossi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Hayden are just a few of the riders who may or may not swap seats for next year. We quite fancy a bit of MotoGP musical chairs. It'd certainly spice things up a bit more, eh?
