Moto2: Camier to Moto2 in 2010?

BSB Championship leader linked to new GP race series for next year

LEON CAMIER may look like he’s got the measure of the British Superbikes this year, but he’s already putting in the footwork behind the scenes in preparation for the 2010 season and beyond.

Although not saying anything official, the tall one has apparently already been in extensive talks with Yamaha in WSB about getting on one of their WSB machines and, according to the paddock grapevine, there’s already been a lot of interest in Camier from a couple of Moto2 teams.

Consider this, Harris/Ohlins look after Camier’s suspension and have already been testing a very early prototype of a Moto2 bike. The bike is equally as fast as some of the very quickest GP250 bikes and that’s without the Honda motor fitted yet, which should be a bit more powerful than the Yamaha R6 engine used so far.

Camier on a Moto2 bike? We reckon that could be the schnizzle.
