BSB: Camier plays down Moto2 in 2010

"I know exactly where I want to be next year and that is in World Superbikes"

AIRWAVES YAMAHA man Leon Camier has put to rest the rumours that he has talks with Moto2 teams for 2010 by saying that his focus now is 100 percent fixed on a World Superbike ride.

Camier said: "The Moto2 thing is very flattering but now I know exactly where I want to be next year and that is in World Superbikes. I don't want to get too far ahead of myself though and I know that I have to stay focused and concentrating on the British Championship.

"I can't let anything take me away from that right now but that's where I need to be next year. Hopefully I can be competitive there and get on a good bike."

Sounds like it's a done deal pretty much, paddock knowers already have him on the factory Yamaha. And it sounds as thought he will be there either alongside Ben Spies or James Toseland, depending on what happens with Spies' contract over the next month or two.
