Bradl being headhunted by Ducati (Audi)?

Rumours emerging that German rider is linked to Ducati thanks to their German owners

A RUMOUR from a reputable Italian journalist on Facebook suggest that Ducati has an Audi-influenced eye on picking up Stefan Bradl for the 2014 season, as reported by GP-Inside.com.

The MotoGP rookie has been impressive in his debut in the premier class with a string of top ten finishes, including a best of fifth in the French GP at Le Mans. Bradl already has a contract in place with the LCR team for the 2013 season, but his finishes have put him in the minds of many as a possibility for the vacated seat at Repsol Honda.

However, there are mutterings in the paddock that following Audi's acquisition of Ducati, the German car giant are pushing the Italian manufacturer behind the scenes to get the German rider on a Desmosedici in 2014.
