Austin MotoGP test times - Day 2

Guess who's still on top...

MARC MARQUEZ held top spot for the second day in a row after Wednesday's session at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

Repsol Honda, LCR Honda and the Factory Yamaha team began testing on Tuesday - although testing continues until Thursday evening, Yamaha have announced they will not test on the final day. They were joined by American CRT wildcards, who have previously tested the track.

Pedrosa closed the gap slightly on his young teammate, while Stefan Bradl continued to be in the mix with some excellent lap times throughout the day.

New circuit COTA impressed in November of last year, when Formula One raced there for the first time. This year MotoGP will visit in April.
