MULTIPLE WRC champion Sébastien Loeb finds himself minus two-wheels as he tries his new KTM RC8R on a French circuit.

Swapping his Citreon DS3 for KTM's flagship superbike, the Frenchman took to Circuit de la Bresse near Lyon. Loeb has a close relationship with the Austrian manufacturer having previously owned a 2008 RC8, his latest bike is something of a treat after winning the WRC championship in 2009 and 2010.

Speaking about his new RC8R, he commented: “I was out on my RC8 here back in April 2009 and how it compares to the new model is really interesting. The way the power unfolds in the RC8 R is smoother, it has more power and at the same time has less vibration. The motorcycle is more agile, it’s much lighter to ride and suits this very technical circuit much better”, Loeb said after four outings on the bike.
