But Phase One Yamaha retire after 600 laps

WORLD Endurance Champions, Suzuki Endurance Racing Team have won the German 24-Hour World Endurance round at Oschersleben having lead for most of the race.

SERT settled into a fast pace from the start and soon took control of the race, stretching their lead to 18 minutes over second place Kawasaki France.

The team notched up 905 laps on their GSX-R1000, with Kawasaki France managing 893 and third placed Yamaha Austria Racing just 8 laps behind with 885 laps.

British squad, Phase One, retired from the race after over 600 laps.
