Manx GP: Still on despite Foot & Mouth

Government relax Foot & Mouth restrictions

The MANX Grand Prix (MGP) will take place now the government have relaxed restrictions put in place due to Foot and Mouth disease.

While the race is due to go ahead, the organisers of the 2007 MGP have put in place several health and safety features to help prevent any possible spread of the disease, including disinfection stations for marshalls and altered public routes to keep the public and livestock as separated as possible.

While footpaths are now open, unfenced paths including those crossing agricultural land, will remain closed.

The MGP starts on August the 18th.
