BSS: Roberts steps in for injured Linfoot

Reigning World Supertock champ to ride NW200 Coca Cola Yamaha at Mallory this weekend

THE REIGNING World Superstock 1000 Champion Brendan Roberts is to ride Dan Linfoot's NW200 Coca Cola Yamaha R6 at Mallory Park this weekend.

Roberts has himself recovered from a broken left foot, the result of that huge crash at Monza earlier this year, but is making his track return at Mallory on Sunday.

Having raced in the Virgin R6 Cup in 2005 (where he finished second to fellow Aussie Billy McConnell) Roberts took the British Superstock 1000 title the following year before making his way to the world scene. Last year he won the World title riding for the Ducati Xerox Junior team.
