For that special biker in your life – gifts up to £50.

5. North and South Pole thermal base layers £25.99 (top) £19.99 (trousers) - Top - Trousers

Another must-have bit of kit for anyone who rides all year round. Base layers don’t just keep you warm they also make it easier to get in and out of your riding gear and, if you wear leathers, can actually boost your ability to move more easily.

I’ve been using this set for about three weeks now and find them invaluable and extremely well priced too. Last winter I relied solely on heated clothing but found the wires and plugs a bit of a faff if you were getting on and off your bike. With these base layers though, I can’t see me needing the heated kit again.

4. Dainese Felpa Seventy-Two Hoodie (reduced) £37.50

You can’t have a wardrobe that doesn’t contain a hoodie, it’s like the Swiss Army Knife of clothing!

This Dainese Felpa 72 is reduced at the moment but be quick – they one have small and extra small left!

3. Motorcycle taster lesson Honda Motorcycle Experience

We all have that one mate that loves bikes but, for whatever reason, never took the plunge and had a go.

If that sounds familiar, why not book them a taster session with the Honda School of Motorcycling? They have training schools up and down the UK and the recipient will receive guidance in a secure, traffic-free area that will help them to learn the basics of riding manual or twist-and-go machines.

2. Ride 3 for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC from £40

I’m pretty sure I’m a better motorcyclist in the make-believe world of video games than I am in real life. In fact, if I could somehow download the skill I have at moving some pixels around a track and apply that to actually riding a real bike – Maverick Vinales wouldn’t have a ride this year and I’d be sat on a beach.

As bike games go, the Ride series is as good as it gets. Ever since the first edition of the franchise, gamers and bikers alike have been in awe of the realistic physics and clean, crisp graphics. If you’d like to see very little of your significant other over Christmas, buy this game.

1. MotoGP 2018 season review £14.99

Even though this year’s championship wasn’t the down-to-the-wire affair that we all hoped for but still, it was a pretty close-run thing.

The red bikes are edging closer to the Hondas, Rossi was leading races – and then crashed, a lot – Cal was in the mix in free practice and qualifying – and then crashed, a lot – Marquez was just amazing – and then crashed, a lot!

Actually, thinking back there were a heck of a lot of crashes this season – why not relive them all in glorious HD with the 2018 MotoGP review by Duke!
