Royal Enfield Himalayan to be sold in Europe

Royal Enfield's International Head of Business confirmed during a press conference at EICMA

ROYAL ENFIELD'S first adventure bike, the Himalayan, will be sold in Europe next year, the firm confirmed at EICMA.

So far the firm had only said it was 'not confirmed' that the Indian-market model would be sold elsewhere - despite showcasing the bike at the show in Milan.

But after a press conference on the model, Arun Gopal, the Indian firm's Head of International Business, said the intention to sell it in here was 'absolutely the reason we're here in Europe to showcase the bike.' Mr Gopal, pictured with the Himalayan, said: 'Absolutely we should be getting the Himalayan into Europe in the next season.'

He said Royal Enfield would confirm the price after listening to feedback from show visitors.

Forget Europe....get it to the US quick so the liberals can buy and ride them to their new homes through the desert into Mexico or across the mountains into Canada.

Sorry for guys across the pond, I am quite happy the model is finally making it to Europe. Be patient americans, it will get there too!

Will the rear wheel saree guard also be imported so any liberal riding hippies don't entangle their bell-bottoms? Where is the engine that can run on peanut oil?
