MV AGUSTA USA has released a price list for its 2015 models and confirmed the F4 RC by revealing it will cost $46,000 (£29,470).
The superbike, a customer version of a new F4 to be raced in World Superbikes next year, was previously revealed in a presentation to journalists but never made an appearance at the Eicma motorcycle show in Milan.
MV says the RC weighs 8% less than the current F4 RR, suggesting the claimed 175kg mass is a dry-weight figure.
To increase the current F4 RR's 201hp power figure to the RC’s claimed 210hp, the 2015 model has a new cylinder head, crankshaft and camshafts, and lighter pistons and connecting rods.
It also gets fully adjustable suspension from Öhlins and Termignoni exhaust.
Despite a number of carbon fibre and magnesium parts as standard, MV says more are available, along with a full titanium exhaust, in an optional ‘racing kit’.
