First Look: Husqvarna Nuda 900R

100bhp and 173kg

HERE is the first look at the new Husqvarna Nuda 900R, the firms first entry into the street bike market.

Powerplant is a parallel twin donated from BMW and bored-out to 900cc with 100bhp plus from the engine, with a claim of 73lb/ft of torque. Dry weight is claimed to be below 175kg as Husky have worked to centre the distribution of mass.

Suspension wise, the front features a 48mm Sachs fully adjustable fork; compression, rebound damping and spring preload. Likewise the shock is a fully adjustable Öhlins unit.

Giving the first complete visual impression of the new Husky 900, it appears that the company have combined some elements from their offroad roots with the styling of a naked.
