Triumph posts £15m profit in 2010

Increased revenue despite a fall in unit sales

TRIUMPH posted a £15m profit for it's full financial year in 2010.

The results, which ran up to June 2010, showed that although Triumph's unit sales fell by 1.5% to 45,500 units, their turnover rose to £312m, a 3% rise from the previous year.

Despite sales of over 500cc bikes dropping by almost 18% in the past year, Triumph have managed to weather the storm. Sales of the firm's new Tiger 800 look set to put Triumph in an even stronger position for 2011.
