Paperwork cock-up halts MV sales in California

Firm forbidden from selling 2014 models after failing to complete forms

MV HAS lost its licence to sell bikes in California because of a paperwork cock-up, the firm has admitted.

The company mistakenly failed to supply some of the forms needed to renew its licence to sell bikes in the US state, resulting in a ruling from the California Department of Motor Vehicles that no 2014 models could be sold.

Rob Keith, MD of MV Agusta USA, said it was ‘a paperwork issue we are resolving as we speak. Nothing sinister or having anything to do with our bikes. Strictly paperwork.’

It's estimated it will take two weeks to resolve.
