Machine gun motorcycle guard for Cameron

As the General Election draws closer the security is increased for the Tory leader

In the run up to the May election Conservative leader David Cameron has stepped up his security, with machine gun motorcycle mounted police officers.

The leader of the Conservative party was seen leaving his home yesterday flanked by a police motorcycle rider armed with an automatic machine gun, The Daily Mail reports.

Cameron is protected by officers from Scotland Yard's Specialist Protection division, however a source close to Cameron claimed that his security had not been increased, he said: “The police are the same, armed the same way as they have been every day since the election campaign began.”
