KTM Red Bull Junior Supermoto Cup, Three Sisters r

Race report and results from the Three Sisters round

The 5th event of the KTM Red Bull Junior Cup took place this weekend at Three Sisters in England. The race, which is part of the British Supermoto Championship, started under dry weather conditions on a gloomy weekend.

The local hero Chris Hodgson took lead after the start and kept the number one position with a flawless lights to flag victory. Hogdson was followed home by the Austrian Martin Kraus. The championship leader Baptiste Rheims, took third spot.

Heat 2 was decided by a photo finish. And as usual, the winners start from a reverse grid, Rheims, Hodgson and Kraus had to start their race from the positions of the last row. Kraus' race finished in lap one, after a crash. Hodgson and Rheims put on a great show, both pilots attacked each others' position corner after corner. With just a fre laps remaining, Rheims took the victory but Hodgson took the event victory after his win in Heat 1.

For the last race in Greece, there are just two riders with a chance of championship victory; the French rider Rheims and the Finnish rider Hermunen.
