Guns'N'Roses guitarist in hit-and-run bike smash

Gilby Clarke left with badly broken leg following LA motorcycle crash

FORMER Guns 'N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke was involved in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash  at the weekend.

Clarke, 47, joined the world famous rock band in November 1991, replacing Izzy Stradlin, who quit the group in the middle of a 28-month world tour.

Tracii Guns of the veteran hard rock band LA Guns has posted a short message online revealing the smash had left Clarke with a badly broken leg.

"Gilby got nailed on his motorcycle last night. His leg is broken in three places. It was a hit and run. I am gonna try to go see him tonight - he will be ok."
