BSB: Haydon no longer riding for Virgin Yamaha

Superstock star brought in to replace Haydon

JAMES HAYDON has been axed from the Virgin Yamaha British Superbike squad.

He is being replaced by Hudson Kennaugh who left the Raceways Superstock team to fill-in for Haydon but we're now told this will be a full-time role for the South African, who to compete the rest of the season the the Virgin R1.

Haydon was previously sidelined for 'a couple of races' due to a mountain bike accident which damaged his shoulder and flared up a previous injury.

Kennaugh previously tested for Rizla Suzuki at Donington in 2005, he won the European GSX-R Cup and was lying second in the Superstock championship.
