Reactive Parts’ boss, Steve Heneghan, will be piloting the 200+hp machine around the tight and twisty track in a few weeks’ time

Ducati Panigale V4 to make road-racing debut at Macau GP

AFTER posting some teasers on social media over the last week or so, Reactive Parts have unveiled the bike they are taking to compete in this year’s Macau GP, a stunning Ducati Panigale V4.

The race, taking place on the 15th – 18th November, marks not just the first time a Panigale V4 will compete at the event, but also the first time a Panigale V4 has raced on a street circuit at an internationally sanctioned race meeting. For the rider, who is also the boss at Reactive Parts, it’ll be his seventh time racing at the Macau GP, last year finishing in 22nd place aboard a Suzuki GSX-R1000.

Their website reports: “Heneghan’s experience will be an added value to the performance of the new Ducati, the sole V4 in Macau, alongside two [v-twin] Panigales.

“We are really looking forward now to the V4 debut in Macau with the Reactive Parts Team making history.”

No doubt other road-race teams will be looking on with interest as the Macau GP is a favourite event for TT racers and teams. With the track layout being widely different to the TT, no comparison between the tracks can be drawn. But a good result in Macau could see some riders putting a V4 on their Christmas wish list regardless.
