WHEN WE were at the Tokyo bike show earlier this year, one of the big highlights was the Yoshimura stand. And on said stand, an even bigger highlight was the firm's special Z900 RS, festooned in cool Yoshi bolt-ons.
And now, UK owners can get hold of the good stuff, from official Yosh importer Performance Parts Limited. The firm's just released prices and availability for the super-cool Cyclone four-into-one matt black retro exhaust, plus Cyclone, R77S and R11 slip-on silencers, engine protectors, and radiator guard.
The full Cyclone system is a cracker - finished in matt black for that 1970s endurance racer look, but made of stainless steel so no rusting woes. It's not cheap at £1,731, but we reckon there'll be plenty of takers even at that price.
The slip-ons are a cheaper option, and available in a range of finishes, from polished stainless, titanium, blue and carbon to black metal magic and matt stainless. Prices range from £468 for a stainless Cyclone to £744 for a titanium blue R11.
Engine case protectors are finished with Yosh logos, and cost £162 and £182, which should be a further encouragement not to crash... The polished radiator guard has a laser-cut Yoshi logo, and costs £148 in shiny stainless or £206 in black oxide finish.
