Yamaha unveils new XSR900 Abarth at Eicma

YAMAHA has just revealed the latest addition to its sports heritage range – the XSR900 Abarth, at a presentation in Milan

It’s a limited edition model - just 695 will be made and you’ll have to register to get your hands on one. It’ll be available in April 2017.

It’s powered by the XSR’s 847cc liquid-cooled DOHC three-cylinder engine and includes traction control and an assist and slipper clutch.

It looks to have quite a sporty riding position, which looks in keeping with it’s café racer stylings.

A full titanium Akrapovic exhaust compliments the bike’s looks and should no doubt make it sound pretty damn good too.

Speaking of looks, the styling detail on this bike is exquisite. It features a special grey and red paintscheme and carbon front mudguard and pillion seat cover, plus Abarth logos on the tank.

Seat height is 830mm and the tank is 14 litres.
