Triumph Bonneville Bobber Black debuts

AS predicted by Visordown, Triumph has just revealed the Bobber Black, with performance upgrades as well as blacked-out styling.

As suggested by the name, it takes the Bobber and gives it lots of black components including exhaust, anodised footpegs and powder-coated engine, but also adds a twin-disc front brake set-up with Brembo calipers.

The front wheel is a 16-inch instead of 19-inch while the tyre is fatter than the base-model’s.

The forks are also beefier, at 47mm versus 41mm on the standard Bobber.

It shares the same rear suspension set-up with the Bobber, designed not to take a pillion, while gaining optional feet-forward controls and a full LED headlight with daytime running light.

The Bobber Black has the base-model’s electronics, including riding modes, but with cruise control added.

It comes in jet black or matte black with price and arrival date to be confirmed.

Triumph revealed it along with the new Speedmaster at an event showcasing the firm’s new factory visitor centre, which opens to the public from November 1 in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
