Win a Sailor Jerry-styled Harley

SIX CUSTOMISED Harley-Davidson, inspired by the art of Normal ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, the father of American old-school tattooing, are up for grabs in a US competition.

The designs on the 2018 Street Bob models were the winning entries in Harley’s “My Work Speaks For Itself” Sailor Jerry themed paint job competition. They were unveiled at the Elm Street Tattoo & Music Festival in Dallas, Texas and will go on a promotional tour before being handed over to their new owners

The contest was—two classic American brands,” a spokesperson told The Drive. “Six winners were chosen from the national pool of entries by a celebrity panel.” The celebrities on the panel comprised “Ink Master” co-host Oliver Peck, tattoo artist Megan Massacre and Ashley Marsh of Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum.

Eagles, stars, flowers, and pinup girls feature heavily on the bikes, which are designed in the vein of traditional American tattooing.

The Street Bob is the entry-level bike in the 2018 Softail line-up, featuring Harley’s Milwaukee Eight 107 V-twin engine.
