SUZUKI'S been restoring Barry Sheene's 1976 world championship-winning XR14 RG500 and has just published this second video following the project.
It's been restored by former Grand Prix technicians Martyn Ogborne, Barry Sheene’s mechanic during his championship-winning seasons, and Nigel Everett.
The bike that carried Sheene to four victories during the 1976 season was flown to the UK last year on the 40th anniversary of his maiden world title.
It belongs to the Sheene family and is due to appear at events this year including the Sheene Festival at Oliver’s Mount, the Donington Park Classic Motorcycle Show and the British Grand Prix in August.
