THIS is the trailer for Motorcycle Girl, the biopic of Zenith Irfan, who made history in August 2015 as the first female Pakistani motorcyclist to ride through the northern terrains of the country.

Irfan took on the epic journey following her father’s death. It had been an ambition of his to leave Pakistan and ride around the world and as his oldest child she felt obliged to take on the challenge.

Aboard a 150cc Suzuki she rode 3,200 kilometres from her home of Lahore in North East Pakistan, through Northern Pakistan and up to the Khunjerab on the Chinese border, crossing the Himalayas.

The film was written and directed by Adnan Sarwar, and co-produced by Jami under his banner Azadfilm Company.

It is due to be released in Pakistan this month, and we’re hoping it will find its way to British screens soon after!
