Why is it bad for an engine to labour?

As the question says...

laboring your motor is very expensive as thus greatly reduces the engines life puts unnecessary strain on the transmission and drive-shaft axles and CVS you have gears for a reason 1st gear will take you up to 50 km/hr if you ring the crap out of it but this also causes damage and both motoring conditions is extremely bad for fuel economy you should be able to achieve max fuel efficiency between the rpm ranges of 3000-5000 rpm with no damage to your engine with max fuel efficiency obviously you wont stay at 5000 rpm as staying in high revolutions for extended periods of time also damages your engine  1st gear -30 km 5000 rpm  2nd gear -50 km 4500 rpm  3rd gear -50 km 3000 rpm  4th gear  70 km 3000 rpm  5th gear 100 km 3000 rpm  this is how a gearbox is arranged in the gear ratios which is why if you cant be bothered to change gear down or up you need to buy a automatic which it will change for you  gear ratios  1st- 2.3 2nd-1.5 3rd-1.2 4th-1 5th-0.9 people think that changing your gears all the time is gonna wreck your clutch but that's not true clutches are always engaged and disengage when you press the pedal in clutches usually stuff out cause of the driver one typical fault with the driver is resting your foot on the clutch which makes the thrust bearing contact the pressure plate eating away through it over time riding the clutch or over revving the engine before clutch is engaging is another fault you should always have the engine at idle slowly release the clutch pedal until the refs drop and then accelerate and taking your foot completely off the clutch at the same time and my favorite dropping the clutch or revving the engine until you get to red line and then drop your foot off the pedal most stock standard cars have clutches that do not operate under such load and break all above values are not accurate but a typical analysis to most stock standard makes and models
