very nice indeed mate !! how bloody tiny is that gas gas engine :smoke:

very small... whole bike weighs 69kilos with fuel and oil. One thing with 2 strokes , easy to work on and small and compact.

Enjoy

my latest addition to the garage

Pete, I reckon that's one of the best looking bikes money can buy! You obviously feel black is better than orange then.Nice location for picture as well!

I see Pete's think alike.Yes I dont see any other bike out there just now but maybe the new naked BMW?Im happy with black but the orange isnt so bad. What about these pics?

Both very nice. I may have to take a picy in front of the duck pond at Finchingfield!I also see that your number plate has shrunk to a similar size that mine has!How do you find it behaves over bumpy roads on the gas?

Front goes light as expected. It rides good but I have fiddled with the suspension settings. Two clicks harder front and back.I have had two scary wobbles at 100+.looking at getting a damper when someone makes one.Like my KTM hat in last pic?

I think Chris at x-bikes intends to work out a GPR kit.I've yet to twiddle, but for the road I think I'll try a tad softer first

You get Orange or black? What do you think of it?I went 16 tooth front sprocket as well and it is better at roundabouts and following slow traffic. Less clutch grabbing you know what Im talking about!

It's orange.I think the handling is fairly radical, how fast does it turn , the brakes are awesome - (I first tried those 4 pad calipers on a 996R I rode).I'm still running in but the demo bike seemed to have more than enough go for a road bike, and enough to suprise a fair few plastic missile riders on a track day!To tell the truth, I haven't rode a proper bike on the road for 3 years, so I'M quite rusty at the moment. I'd rather be a bit boring and sensible for a while than sling the thing down the road before it's first service.Tank range is gonna be crap when I'm using the whole rev range, luckily I didn't buy it to patrol the M-ways!*Pulls captain sensible hat on* The mirrors are good! I'm not sure if I'd take it on the track with those Diablo tyres on. I reckon they're fairly good kit for the road though.Next time some-one starts going on about radial brake master cylinders, just happen to mention your bike has a radial clutch cylinder as well, as OE, along with braided hoses and all round Brembo!

Also had a scary moment just after that first pic was taken after my wobbles!I was leaning pretty good into a corner and bike was well over and rear tyre slid and gripped again.Big scare. Didnt see anything on road but didnt go back to look either but the good news is it didnt spit me off. Other than that I am happy with the diablos them seem pretty good to me.I really like how it handles and the most fun I've ever had on one wheel. Doesnt it wheelie eo easy?

I must admit, even on a 660 motard I don't really wheelie much.* Never really spent any time trying, the guys at reading noticed that when they sit back and give the bars a tug, I instinctively put my (feather weight) over the front! When it's run in I may look into it.*I ain't gay or owt!

Ha,ha believe me when you do hit that throttle and tug it lifts good.Ive had it lifting up around the Ton mark using bumps and a bit of a tug.

Papercup reckons on his test ride he was putting it down at 120 plus.Having ridden with him a believe that!

Thats what Im talking about!

Blimey!
