Just bought a K 93 E1 zzr600 for work and general running about, I like it

Having had a bit of a clean up over the winter... I've junked the Carbon Can and put the Kat back on, going all eco-friendly.. and fitted this... Seriously high Tec... CC

Took a few pics of mine and CC's bikes the other day. Mine's the black B1...just fitted a Yoshimura RS3 end can and CRG levers to it. Excuse the state of them, they both need a good clean:

Nik - they're certainly an acquired taste, and as standard they're a bit unwieldy. However, sort the suspension (the bike sits too low as standard), add some fruity pipes, get some miles on the motor (they don't really run smoothly until at least 15k) and you've a surprisingly effective, quick bike. Lots of low-down torque too which is always handy.Finish/build could be better - main problem is from using 'environmentally-friendly' water-base paints. It falls off the forks/engine cases annoyingly early in the bike's life. Having said that, I know more than a couple of guys who've got 11S's which have done well in excess of 100k and still run like clockwork.Oh..they're a piece of p*ss to work on too. Valve clearances in less than 20 mins??? No problem

They were originally built for the Ruperts but after a long battle us low-lifes got some too, fortunately.
